Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch is located in beautiful Plumas County, "The Friendliest County in California" between the historical towns of Graeagle and Quincy, just 70 miles from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport. The Ranch is also just miles from the scenic Feather River Canyon and the most rugged trans-sierra railroad line in California. This is truly a  western paradise for people who love horseback riding, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, fresh mountain air, blue skies, spectacular views, starry nights and unconditional relaxation! Greenhorn Guest Ranch is chock full of fun activities. That’s because the ranch is settled on over 600 acres, with access to hundreds of acres of Plumas National Forest and offers a comfortable, relaxing, outdoor oriented vacation with lots ofhorseback riding and western adventures.

 

There is always something happening on the ranch. You can take a dip in the heated swimming pool where there are plenty of lounge chairs for nappin’ and sunnin', plus our full service saloon is right there if you want a “cold one.

 

Out on the main lawn we have two pits for tossing horseshoes. We also have our volleyball net for a rousing game of Guests versus Wranglers or a round of badminton.  In addition, we offer a disc golf course through the forest along the creek.

 

There are two fully stocked ponds for fishing and miles of hiking and mountain bike trails. If that’s not enough, you can even line dance with a band, sing along at a karaoke party, join a frog race, take a horse drawn wagon ride or horseback ride and enjoy a bonfire complete with traditional smores.

 

Activities at The Ranch Include, card night, cookouts, line dancing, softball, swimming, water balloon fights, hiking, horse painting, horseshoes, petting zoo, pony rides, rec hall events, frog racing, karaoke, rodeo games, wagon rides, kiddie corral and playground.
